As you will know Pinstriping is not a modern art form. It was first pioneered in the 1800's believe it or not, but became popular in the USA in the late 40's early 50's with the advent of Kustom Kulture.
There are relatively few professional pinstripers in the USA today and even fewer in the UK, the likes of Von Dutch, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, Steve Kafka, and John Hannukaine to name but a few, have developed unique styles which became their personal signatures on the cars, bikes, trucks and fridges they embellish.
Pinstriping today has evolved into many differing styles, Kris takes elements of each and weaves them into his own distinctive style. Mainly a traditionalist Kris is one of a small number keeping the art alive in the UK!
